Cheesy Garlic Shrimp Bread is a rich and indulgent appetizer or snack featuring crusty bread loaded with a creamy, garlicky shrimp topping, melted cheese, and herbs. Perfect for parties or game nights.

  • 1 loaf French bread, halved lengthwise
  • 1/2 lb (225g) shrimp, peeled, deveined, and chopped
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  3. Add chopped shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 2–3 minutes until just pink. Remove from heat.
  4. In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, sour cream, mozzarella, cheddar, cooked shrimp, and parsley.
  5. Spread the mixture evenly over the bread halves.
  6. Place bread on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 10–12 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Optionally broil for 1–2 minutes for extra golden top.
  8. Slice and serve warm.

  • Use pre-cooked shrimp to save time.
  • Try adding red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
