  • 1 ½ cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • Optional: ½ cup salsa or pico de gallo

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Beef Filling: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat, then sauté diced onion and minced garlic until translucent and fragrant. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking up clumps, until browned. Stir in taco seasoning and water, then simmer until well combined and slightly thickened.
  2. Assemble the Roll Ups: Lay out the flour tortillas on a flat surface. Evenly spoon a generous amount of the seasoned beef onto each tortilla. Top the beef with shredded cheddar cheese and add salsa or pico de gallo if using. Roll the tortillas tightly to secure the filling inside.
  3. Cook the Roll Ups: Place the assembled rolls seam-side down on a lightly greased baking sheet. Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 10-12 minutes until the tortillas are golden and the cheese is melted.
