  • 1/2 cup blackberry preserves
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • Fresh blackberries (for garnish, optional)
  • Butter or oil (for toasting buns)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix ground beef with salt and pepper. Form into 4 patties.
  2. Cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Set aside on paper towels.
  3. In the same skillet or grill, cook burger patties for 4-5 minutes per side or until desired doneness.
  4. In a small bowl, beat cream cheese with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until smooth to create the cheesecake spread.
  5. In a saucepan, combine blackberry preserves, balsamic vinegar, and lemon juice. Simmer for 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened. Remove from heat.
  6. Toast burger buns lightly with butter or oil.
  7. Assemble burgers: spread cheesecake mixture on the bottom bun, add beef patty, top with crispy bacon, drizzle with blackberry sauce, and garnish with fresh blackberries if desired. Cover with top bun.
  8. Serve immediately while warm.
